Heart valve surgery

Either by repairing the valve damage, or by replacing it with one of two types of valves:

Artificial valve:
Made of durable materials that last a long time, but requires the use of anticoagulants for life to prevent clots.

Biological valve:
Made of animal or human tissue, does not require the use of anticoagulants, but needs to be replaced after a period of time.
