This specialty is concerned with injuries to the locomotor system in children (which includes the skeleton, joints and muscles).
Whether they are congenital deformities, or caused by growth disorders, or fractures due to accidents or structural and metabolic disorders. It aims at early diagnosis to preserve the function of the motor system and prevent future complications, and correct deformities that may occur.
